Wall Street Journal Reading Exercise

Read the Wall Street Journal, and identify one article published in the last 10 days that’s relevant to one of the themes of this unit. In your first post, identify using bullet points:

• the article title, author, date, and link
• a brief synopsis of the article (1 – 2 paragraphs maximum)
• a summary of the key issues and their significance to you
• your observations and conclusions.

Make your initial posts by 11:59 p.m. U.S. EST/EDT on Day 3 of Unit 2. Then, review your classmates’ posts, and respond to at least three of them. Make your final posts by 11:59 p.m. U.S. EST/EDT on Day 7 of Unit 2. Discussion posts should always be thoughtful and courteous and include some references or direct evidence from the unit’s content, readings, or assignments to support your statements.
